Summary

Mrs. Mabel Uvieroghene Ewubare a chief lecturer in Home Economics Department College of Education, Warri. Was born on 15th October, 1958 at Igun in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State. She holds a Bachelor degree in Home Economics Education, Masters degrees in Home Economics Education (Nutrition) and Guidance and Counselling from Delta State university, Abraka and University of Benin, Benin City respectively.

Mrs. Mabel Ewubare has great flare for education and advancement of knowledge towards the development of her nation hence, she engages in series of researches. She has attended so many National and International Conferences where she presented papers. Amongst these conferences were those held at the International Research and Capacity Building Foundation in Collaboration with the University of Western Cape, Bellville, Cape Town-South Africa, and International Conference on Education at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey-USA. She has presented thirty-seven articles in various conferences and presently has twenty-one articles in different learned journals. She has written many books on different areas of Home Economics, especially in the area of Nutrition. She is currently running a Doctorate programme in Home Economics Education – majoring on Nutrition.

She belongs to many professional bodies amongst which are Nutrition society of Nigeria and Home Economics Research Association of Nigeria.

In order to uphold her integrity and the Christian faith she believes in, she always stands for the truth. She is hard-working, dedicated and committed to her duty and every work assigned to her. She is married to Mr. Anderson Ewubare and blessed with five children and five grand children presently.
