Summary

Nwankwo, Theresa Ovueyakporie (Mrs.) born to the family of late David Oviemuro Otiede and Madam Otiede Beatrice of  Ellu in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State on the 4th of May 1962 at Forcados.

Her educational career started at Ezoto Primary School, Benin-City. She attended Idia College, Benin-City where she obtained her West African School Certificate in 1977 and proceded to the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta where she got her National Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1981. She obtained a B.Sc. (Ed) in Home Economics degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 1990 and got a Master degree in Home Economics Education M.Sc (Ed) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2004.

Nwankwo Theresa is currently, a Chief Lecturer lecturing in the department of Home Economics, College of Education, Warri. She have published many articles in academic journals both local and national.

She is a member of some professional associations and bodies such as Home Economics Teachers Association of Nigeria (HETAN), Nigerian Home-Economics Research Association (NHERA), A member of the certified teachers’ body.

Mrs. Theresa have trained food handlers for the shell catering department, Peamos Hotel and G. Platium Petroserve Limited. She acted as a resource person on food hygiene and related issues in the above companies.
