Mrs.  Odiyoma, Helen Ngozi attended comprehensive high school, Igbodo, Asaba Girls’ Grammar school, Asaba and the Edo State University, Ekpoma.  She graduated with second class Lower Division in Botany in 1995, has Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) (1998) from Delta State University, Abraka and M.Sc. in Environmental and Public health microbiology (2008) from the University of Benin, Benin City.  She is currently running a programme in M. Phil. in Environmental and Public health Microbiology from the University of Benin, Benin City.

She has taught in Demonstration Secondary School, College of Education, Warri (1997 – 1998), College of Education, Warri (1998 – Till date), where she is a principal lecturer.

She is a member of various scientific organisations.  She has held various positions in the College and outside.  She is currently the head of Department, (HOD) Biology, College of Education, Warri.  She is married with Children.
